LEGALS:

Rental & Tour Policies

Towing

  • Towing other people, sleds, or equipment with our rental machines is strictly prohibited.

  • If a machine must be towed out, the drive belt must be removed first.

  • Any damages caused by towing or failure to remove the belt are the renter’s full responsibility.

Prohibited Use

Rental machines may not be operated:

  • By anyone not listed on the rental agreement.

  • By anyone under 19 years old, or without a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

  • By any person impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, fatigue, or illness.

  • In races, speed contests, closed areas, or in violation of posted signs or laws.

  • To carry explosives, flammable materials, or extra passengers unless the unit is specifically designed for it.

  • While wearing ski boots (any resulting damage is the renter’s responsibility).

Security Deposit & Damage Responsibility

  • A credit card pre-authorization of $5,000 (or $2,500/$3,500 with insurance) per machine is required in addition to the rental price before release.

  • The renter is responsible for all damages, recovery, replacement costs, and any rental days lost due to downtime.

  • The machine remains under the renter’s responsibility until returned and signed off by our staff.

  • We reserve the right to hold pre-authorizations up to 48 hours after return to complete inspection.

Optional Damage Insurance

  • Available at $50 per day per machine.

  • Reduces the deductible from full replacement value to $2,500 (or $3,500 for Boost) per incident on the renter’s machine only.

  • Insurance does not cover intentional damage, fire, vandalism, theft, recovery costs, or downtime charges.

  • If not purchased at time of rental, insurance is considered declined.

Rental Period, Late & Early Returns

  • Standard rental hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

  • Late returns are subject to a fee of $70 per hour (or part thereof).

  • Machines returned without covers or fuel will be charged an additional fee.

  • No refunds for early returns, accidents, or weather conditions.

  • Mechanical breakdowns not caused by the renter will be refunded proportionally, not exceeding the daily rental rate minus fuel/usage charges.

Personal Property

We are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles, equipment, or articles left in or on the rental unit due to fire, theft, accident, or any cause beyond our control.

Safety & Liability

  • All renters must sign a rental agreement and liability waiver before departure.

  • Valid ID and credit card required at pick-up.

  • Guests are responsible for their own medical and liability insurance, including extraction coverage from remote areas.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • A $300 non-refundable deposit  is required to confirm your booking.

  • Balance is due 30 days before your rental/tour.

  • Cancellations more than 30 days prior: 25% of total rental/tour charge retained.

  • Cancellations 8–29 days prior: 50% of total charge retained.

  • Cancellations within 7 days or no-shows: 100% of total charge retained.

  • No refunds for unused days or early returns.

  • We strongly recommend purchasing your own travel/cancellation insurance.

Age & Ability Requirements

  • Minimum age to operate a machine: 19 years with valid driver’s license.

  • Minimum age for passengers: 6 years, physically accompanied by parent or legal guardian.

  • Mountain riding is physically demanding; guests should assess their fitness level in advance.

Damage Assessment

  • You are responsible for all damages per incident unless optional insurance was purchased.

  • Damages include parts, labor, shipping, and loss of rental days.

  • Some damages cannot be assessed until the machine is inspected by our shop or dealer.

  • If you disagree with our assessment, we can arrange a dealer inspection at your cost.

Tour Guests & Medical Conditions

  • Please advise us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications before your trip.

  • For minors, waivers must be signed on site by the legal guardian.
